A young girl named Kris is chased by a superstitious caretaker, Mr. Collins, after being caught playing hide and go seek in the cemetery. In her attempt to escape, she inadvertently disturbs the tombstone of Cryin' Ryan Greene, the town's former bully. According to Mr. Collins, this has freed Ryan's spirit, and Kris must now find and replace the tombstone to avoid a similar fate to Ryan's, who was murdered over 40 years ago.
