A man named Barton is hired by Merwin to take down Welsh, but upon arrival, Welsh mistakes him for the notorious Single-Shot Smith. Barton sees an opportunity to aid Merwin by joining Welsh's gang, pretending to be Single-Shot. However, things become complicated when the actual Single-Shot Smith shows up.
