The Secret of Santa Vittoria

In the final days of World War II, Bombolini, a struggling drunk, becomes an unlikely hero in the small Italian town of Santa Vittoria. When the Fascist government surrenders, Bombolini is mistakenly hailed as the town's new leader after being stranded on a water tower. As mayor, he must use his wit and cunning to outsmart the Germans, who plan to occupy the town and seize its prized wine stockpile of over a million bottles.
