Two outlaws, Chris and Waldorf, are hired by Sanderson to assassinate the Sheriff, but are given guns with blanks. Upon arrival, someone else shoots the Sheriff, and Chris is mistakenly arrested and accused of the crime. The Sheriff's brother then goads the mob into lynching Chris.

Two notorious outlaws, Chris and Waldorf, are hired to assassinate the Sheriff, but they're unwittingly given blank ammunition. When someone else kills the Sheriff, Chris is mistakenly imprisoned, setting off a chain of chaotic events.
