Touching Wild Horses background

Touching Wild Horses

On Sable Island, a haven for wild horses, a young boy finds comfort with his reclusive aunt after his father and sister's tragic death in a car accident, while his mother lies in a coma.

An 11- or 12-year-old boy named Mark moves in with his gruff and solitary aunt Fiona, a naturalist who lives on an island and studies horses. Fiona takes over Mark's education, and as their bond grows, they face a dilemma when a wild horse foal becomes orphaned, requiring their intervention to survive, despite being forbidden from interfering with the horses' natural lives.
