Toward the Unknown

In the 1950s, a group of daring test pilots at Edwards Air Force Base spearheaded the age of supersonic flight, relentlessly pushing the boundaries of human physical and mental limits in experimental aviation.

USAF Major Lincoln Bond, a war veteran, returns to Edwards Air Force Base as a test pilot after being captured, tortured, and released from a Korean POW camp. He's assigned to test the experimental Gilbert XF-120 fighter, but when he flies the prototype, he discovers a critical structural flaw.
