Trapped by G-Men

The film was initially referred to as "River of Missing Men" during production, but it never received this title at release.

The film "Trapped By G-Men" is about FBI Agent Martin Galloway, who assumes the identity of bank robber Bill Donovan to catch his accomplices, including Harry Grady and Fred Drake. Galloway's plan is to escape from prison and let Drake lead him to Grady's hideout. Along the way, he meets Agent Alice Segar, who is posing as Donovan's wife, and together they escape and make their way to the hideout, where they find other fugitives and hostages.
