Tumbleweeds background

Tumbleweeds

Pioneers rush to stake their claim on the most coveted plots of land in a newly opened territory, as they strive to build a brighter future.

The Cherokee Strip is opened to homesteaders in 1889, leaving Don Carver, a range boss, jobless. He falls in love with Molly Lassiter, a homesteader, and decides to claim a piece of land, hoping to control the water supply. However, his rival Bill Freel and Molly's half-brother Noll conspire against him, leading to Don's arrest as a "sooner". He escapes and fights to claim the ranch house, ultimately evicting Noll and Freel, and winning Molly's hand in marriage.
