A flying doctor, Dr. Jason Barlow, crash-lands in the Alaskan tundra after his plane experiences engine trouble. He is forced to survive for three weeks with limited supplies, relying on his wits and the help of two friendly brown bear cubs, Tom and Jerry, to evade danger and find food. Eventually, Barlow is rescued by his friend Mac, who arrives in a kayak, and says goodbye to his new furry friends who helped him stay sane during his ordeal.
