Lena Schneider, a dissatisfied high school graduate from Berlin, is forced to take a trip with her mother to Thailand, where they get stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash. Initially, she clashes with Cem Öztürk, a self-proclaimed cool guy, and his sister Yagmur, but they eventually establish radio contact with their parents, who are at a nearby hotel. As the group waits for rescue, Lena and Cem develop feelings for each other, despite their initial dislike. However, their relationship is put to the test when they discover that they're not alone on the island, and must confront a treacherous sea urchin and a potential cannibal.
