Rocky, a detective, helps Nugget with rustlers, but discovers Nugget owns only three cows. Despite this, Rocky gets involved in a plot to rob the bank's safe and thwarts the plan. As a result, the culprit declares Rocky an outlaw, wanted dead or alive, and sets out to destroy the bank vault by blowing up an old mine beneath it.
