Dexter Gooding, an ex-convict, returns to his homeland of Bakers Village, only to find it plagued by crime, rape, murder, and robbery. With a sense of guilt over his past crimes, he becomes a vigilante, seeking to eradicate all criminals in true Robin Hood style. Along the way, he meets Amy, a white Barbadian woman, and their worlds collide, leading to a violent eruption of racial, class, and social prejudice.
