A washed-up 80s punk rocker, Johnny Jones, makes a comeback attempt with his old band Weapons of Happiness, but is met with rejection due to his age and image. Determined to succeed, he hires a group of young, media-friendly teens to front a music video, intending to deceive the industry and then reveal the truth. However, his plan backfires, and the media exposes him, sparking a fight against ageism and industry inequality.
