A film-maker searches for the perfect actor, and after auditioning several men, finds his ideal candidate in a lavender-seller. However, this discovery leads to a deeper story as the film-maker learns that the man is actually his father, a resistance fighter returning to Greece after 32 years in the Soviet Union.
