Belle Andrews, a former gambler, loses everything in the Chicago fire and joins Jim Farrel in Powder River, Montana to open a new casino. Farrel plans to gain control of the land by hiring claim jumpers and framing settlers, including Ned Nolan, for crimes. However, Wild Bill Hickok intervenes, organizing the settlers to fight back against Farrel's schemes.
