In this gripping thriller, two real estate moguls, Jack Del Rio and Sy Richards, attempt to persuade animal enthusiast Carol Tanner to sell her beloved safari and animal retirement ranch, Wild Land, which she runs with her sister Ballad. However, when their efforts fail, they resort to underhanded tactics, including releasing a tiger and starting a forest fire. Meanwhile, Ballad's lover, a fire captain, and his team battle to contain the blaze, while a young sheriff and Ballad work together to catch the arsonists. But the villains aren't finished yet, and the story takes a dark and suspenseful turn.
