X the Unknown

In a remote Scottish base, British Army radiation drills inadvertently awaken a mysterious, subterranean entity that feeds on radiation. The creature, left with two severely burned soldiers and a massive crack in the earth, continues to grow as it absorbs energy from any source. As more people encounter it at night, they suffer increasingly severe radiation burns. The team must now uncover the entity's true nature and find a way to destroy it before it's too late.
