A young married couple, madly in love, are on their honeymoon when the groom is attacked and killed by a zombie-like figure. Miraculously, he is resuscitated, but soon begins to disintegrate gradually, similar to cancer or AIDS. As his wife tries to cope with his condition, she realizes he's losing control and becomes a threat to others, including their friends.
