Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends spin-off Jack and the Pack was created by Phil Fehrle in 2003, but its release was delayed until 2006 due to HiT Entertainment's decision not to use it, as it conflicted with their own series Bob the Builder, which they acquired the rights to in 2002.
