In a world where adults are brutally punished for minor mistakes, a group of students are transported to a strange land by a mysterious Sage. The students are forced to fight demons and are trained to survive in this harsh environment. The Sage, Yogiri, chooses only the most talented students to join him on his quest, leaving the rest to perish. As Yogiri searches for a way back to his own world with his classmate Tomochika, he struggles to understand Tomochika's indifference to the bizarre events unfolding around them. What Yogiri doesn't reveal is his own extraordinary ability to kill with a single thought.
