Marnie Watson, a young woman, is released from prison after serving time for killing her abusive husband, a NYC cop, in self-defense. She's required to wear an ankle bracelet and remain within a 100-foot radius of her home, effectively under house arrest. However, her husband's partner keeps a close eye on her from a nearby patrol car, waiting for her to break the rules so he can send her back to prison.
