A Far Place is a story that initially appears peaceful, but upon closer inspection, reveals a complex web of relationships and secrets. The film takes place on a sheep ranch in Hwacheon, Gangwon-do, where Jin Woo and his daughter Seol live a quiet life alongside the ranch owner and his daughter. However, when Jin Woo's long-time lover and friend Hyun Min arrives, the dynamics of the group shift. The arrival of Jin Woo's twin sister Eun Young, who is actually Seol's mother, sparks a conflict that exposes the true nature of the local community.
