Erica and Heidi Holden, sisters and owners of Maple Valley Farms, Montana's largest maple farm, take over the family business after their mother's retirement. Their neighbor, Andres Fernandez, also retires and sells his property, which the Holdens have longed to purchase. Meanwhile, Aaron Davenport, a businessman from San Diego, arrives in town, forming an emotional connection with Erica.
