A Serious Game

A young journalist named Arvid falls in love with Lydia, a painter's daughter, in the archipelago. However, his idea of love may be idealized, and he's driven by a desire to make a name for himself and distance himself from his social background. As the years pass, they marry others, but their paths cross again, leading to an affair that forces them to confront their changed lives and lost connection.
