In a rural church, a priest named Ivan lives with a peculiar perspective, seeing the world through rose-colored glasses and denying harsh realities. He's convinced he's at war with Satan and runs a halfway house for recently-paroled convicts in his rectory. When Adam, a tough neo-Nazi, arrives for 12 weeks, he's initially baffled by Ivan's optimism, but eventually becomes angry and vows to break Ivan's faith.
