After World War II, the US government secretly relocated Nazi scientists to the United States as part of Operation Paperclip, where they continued their research in secret across the country.

In the aftermath of World War II, the US government extracted Nazi scientists from Germany through Operation Paperclip. This led to the formation of Project MK ULTRA, a secret CIA project that involved conducting inhumane experiments on innocent citizens, including drug use, rape, torture, and murder, on a massive scale spanning decades. The project was allegedly shut down after being discovered, but not before the CIA destroyed thousands of documents to conceal their illegal activities.
