William H. Ashe, a 30-year-old man, is stuck in a rut, still living at home with his mother and lacking a clear direction in life. Despite this, he's convinced that acting is his calling and sets out to pursue his dream, following a series of signs that lead him to audition for a movie. As he navigates the city, he becomes entangled in a web of murder, mayhem, and mistaken identity, but remains committed to his quest, believing that a sign is a sign.
