In 15th century England, two powerful nobles, Sir Daniel of the House of York and Sir Henry of the House of Lancaster, fight for the throne. As they vie for power, a mysterious figure in black, known as The Black Arrow, begins to attack tax collectors and their escorts, targeting the wealthy elite. Sir Daniel sends his men to capture the avenger, but The Black Arrow continues to thwart his plans. Meanwhile, Sir Daniel plots to marry his ward Joanna, a beautiful teenager, to gain control of her inheritance and plans to kill her brother Richard, who stands to inherit a large fortune.
