Tim Ross, a former Justice Department agent, joins a medicine show as a sharpshooter. When his friend Tex Weaver is killed during a performance, everyone assumes Tim is responsible, but his girlfriend Goldie, a saloon girl, knows he didn't miss his target. Tim goes undercover to avenge Tex's death, disguising himself as a Mexican caballero. He meets Goldie, who agrees to help him find the real killer, and together they uncover a bank robbery ring led by bank examiner Wiley Taggart and saloon owner Buff Brayden.
