In "Papet Dolls", a vibrant community of Filipino LGBTQ+ individuals living in Israel find solace and self-expression through their shared passion for drag performance with the Paper Dolls, all while dedicating their weekly downtime to caring for elderly Jewish men.

A group of transgender and gay Filipinos emigrate to Israel to care for elderly Jewish men, forming deep bonds despite their differences. On their one day off, they perform as drag queens in the Paper Dolls. The film explores global immigration politics, highlighting the risks faced by foreign workers, and the human struggle of individuals rejected by their families for their sexuality or gender identity.
