In a post-apocalyptic world overrun by giant spider-like creatures, four high school boys seek refuge in a secluded cabin. As they struggle to survive, their relationships with each other deteriorate, and they turn on Alan, a reclusive writer, who becomes a punching bag for their stress and ego. As the creatures loom outside, Alan must confront the monsters within himself and decide whether to fight to survive or succumb to the darkness.
