A car accident on a lonely road in Wucaipa sets off a terrifying chain of events when a mysterious entity attacks the driver and her blind friend Tammy. Tammy survives and is rushed to the Wucaipa General Hospital, where she meets a high school basketball team, including captain Matt, who's recovering from a broken leg. As Tammy's condition worsens, she asks a candy striper nurse, Janine, to kiss her, unknowingly unleashing an alien virus that spreads rapidly through the hospital, infecting nurses, doctors, patients, and staff. As chaos erupts, the group must find a way to escape the quarantined hospital before it's too late.
