Catch as Cats Can background

Catch as Cats Can

A suave canary with a smooth, Sinatra-esque tone grows frustrated with a leisurely parrot, whose Bing Crosby-like drawl is reminiscent of a lazy afternoon, as the parrot attempts to assist a resourceful cat, Sylvester, in his scavenging endeavors through the trash.

An emaciated canary with a Frank Sinatra-like singing voice is driving a pipe-puffing parrot with a Bing Crosby-like voice crazy. The canary tricks Sylvester the cat into coming inside by pretending he needs more vitamins, but the cat soon realizes he's been duped. The canary's attempts to outsmart Sylvester include creating a soap bird decoy and using birdseed to lure the cat into a trap. In the end, the cat becomes frustrated and targets the parrot instead, imitating his mannerisms and speech.
