The canary tricks Sylvester the cat into coming inside by pretending he needs more vitamins, but the cat soon realizes he's been duped. The canary's attempts to outsmart Sylvester include creating a soap bird decoy and using birdseed to lure the cat into a trap. In the end, the cat becomes frustrated and targets the parrot instead, imitating his mannerisms and speech.
