Marco Montes, a burnt-out basketball coach, is forced to re-evaluate his life after a series of unfortunate events. Fired from his job and arrested, he's given the choice to serve 2 years in jail or complete 90 days of community service. He chooses the latter and is tasked with training a team of players with learning difficulties, known as "Los Amigos." As he works with the team, Marco's marriage to Sonia begins to suffer, and he's forced to confront his own behavior and priorities. With the help of his wife and the team, Marco finds a new sense of purpose and redemption, learning to put others before himself and find joy in the simple things.
