Sameer, a Delhi-based young man, is determined to become a Bollywood hero, despite his father's skepticism. After his mother passes away, he relocates to Mumbai, where he faces numerous rejections and setbacks. He works as a courier delivery-man, but is unable to pay his rent and is eventually evicted. Despite these challenges, Sameer finds solace in his job as a dance teacher at Model High School and begins to romance a cute choreographer named Tina Sharma. However, his dreams of stardom are put on hold when he is promised a lead role in a movie, only to discover he must compete in a national contest. Feeling disillusioned and desperate, Sameer receives devastating news about his father and is forced to reevaluate his priorities.
