A star football player falls for the coach's daughter, who has just transferred to his school, as they navigate the difficulties of a forbidden romance.

Corey Peterson, a typical high school football player, falls for Melanie Jackson, the new transfer student and daughter of the school's coach. The coach disapproves of Corey dating his daughter and subjects him to severe coaching, bordering on physical abuse. However, Coach Jackson offers Corey permission to date Melanie if he leads the team to victory in the championship game. Meanwhile, the team engages in a prank war with their rival Brookfield High School, with one player making a secret bet with the Brookfield players that the winning team gets to party with both teams' cheerleaders.
