In the suburban ghetto of West Perrine, Florida, a community plagued by high unemployment and violent crime, a glimmer of hope emerges. Dhafir "Dada 5000" Harris, a former bodyguard for MMA sensation Kimbo Slice, leaves his manager's crew and starts hosting illegal backyard fights in his mother's yard. These bare-knuckle battles, with no doctors or ambulances, become a way for local men to earn a living and escape their impoverished circumstances. Meanwhile, Dada himself gets discovered by professional scouts and pursues a career in the octagon at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
