In this thriller, a New York City cop leads a double life as a high-ranking priest of Santeria, a faith that combines Christianity and African traditions. When a cop kills a son of a powerful Santeria priest, he tries to cover up the fact that the man was unarmed. But the priest's family places a curse on the cop and those involved in the case, and soon a series of terrifying events unfolds.
