Shankar and his wife Savitri are blessed with a baby girl, Satya, after Savitri prays to Devi Maa Durga. However, instead of donating her Mangal Sutra to the temple as promised, Savitri tries to donate a different necklace, which leads to Satya being mistaken for a donation child. Devi Maa appears to Savitri in various forms, reminding her of her promise to surrender Satya to her care. Meanwhile, Asur Raj is hired to eliminate Satya, who was born to kill him.
