Dexter discovers robots seeking to destroy the one who saved the future and decides to use his time machine to uncover how he achieved this feat. He easily defeats the robots with his gadgets, but curiosity gets the better of him as he learns of his heroic reputation. He travels through time with Beau, taking a trip down memory lane to explore his past. In his first stop, he finds a younger, weaker version of himself working in an office, with Mandark as his boss.
