Jaidev and Kavita Bhasin's son Sunny joins Aston Football Club, despite his father's wishes for him to play for Southall Football Club, an all-Asian team in England. However, Sunny faces racism and is eventually ostracized by the team. He then returns to Southall FC, leading the team to success with Captain Shaan Ali Khan and Coach Tony Singh. But just as the team is about to play in the semi-finals, Sunny makes a shocking switch to a more prestigious club, leaving his former team and family in despair.
