A political extremist, on the run after a assassination, poses as a French sailor to escape. He stows away on a freighter, kidnapping the captain's daughter, Katherine, to gain access. The captain agrees to Wilson's demands, but the first mate discovers the abduction, and the crew decides to rescue Katherine before Wilson harms her further.
