In 1936, the Spanish Civil War erupts, and the Anarchist militia takes control of Lower Aragon. Ramon and his wife Dora, who live on a farm, harbor a secret that's been passed down through their family. Every two years, mysterious lights appear in the surrounding forest, emanating from the trees. According to legend, these lights illuminate a door leading to another world, a realm from which no one can return. But when an Anarchist who's smitten with Dora seeks Ramon's help, he disappears into the light, leaving the truth behind the legend up for debate.
