Firefighters in London put their lives on the line to save people and buildings from the devastating effects of the Blitz, a brutal period of bombing raids during World War II.

During World War II, a new civilian firefighter joins a London unit and quickly becomes part of a tight-knit team. After getting to know his colleagues, he accompanies them on their first major mission to rescue a warehouse filled with explosives on Trinidad Street near the London docks.
