Ace reporter Duke Lester is on the hunt for a missing heiress, outsmarting his rival Christine Nelson and causing her to lose her job. Christine seeks revenge by interrupting his radio broadcast, then lands a job with a competing newspaper to create her own "Newsreel of the Air" program. She becomes a hit and discovers Duke's plan to have her arrested to sign up the famous "Wyatt" quintuplets himself. Christine convinces the authorities of her innocence and foils Duke's scheme, broadcasting the quints' talents to the world.
