The movie follows Colonel Loring Leigh, a British Indian Army officer who is cashiered after an order he gave results in the loss of 90 lives. He returns home and shares his suspicion with his sons that a conspiracy by an arms syndicate is behind the rebellion. However, before they can investigate further, Leigh is found dead, apparently a suicide. The four sons then embark on a perilous journey to uncover the truth, with Lynn Cherrington, Geoffrey's love interest, close on their heels.
