In the movie, Beans stumbles upon gold in the mountains and rushes to town to share the news, sparking a gold rush. However, Porky and his group arrive first after taking Beans in their car. Beans finds a treasure chest containing a book on how to find gold, while Porky discovers a gold nugget. Beans chases after a bad guy who lassos a sack, and they engage in a shootout. Beans refuels the car with moonshine, retrieves the sack, and returns to town, earning Porky's daughter's hand and revealing the sack's contents.
