Buck Gordon, a hired gun, is tasked by rancher John Mulford to capture a gang of cattle rustlers, led by Mulford's foreman Rance Radigan. Along the way, Buck meets Mary Gray, who is trying to protect her grandfather's discovery of a rich gold vein in Ghost City. However, a mystery man, Jim Carmody, tries to stop the mining of the vein. Buck must use all his skills and those of his horse Silver to protect Mary from the unknown foes.
