In 1934 Korea, a martial arts school faces brutal conflict during the Japanese occupation. Three Chinese students, fed up with the unfair treatment of Japanese-backed schools, defend a fellow fighter against a group of aggressors. The retaliation is severe: their school is destroyed, and they are banished. The trio returns to China, establishes their own school, and embarks on a journey to spread harmony by visiting other martial arts schools, only to discover that the Japanese have taken over their neighborhood. They must engage in numerous kung fu battles to ultimately bring peace.
