I for India

The Suris embark on a temporary trip to England in 1966, allowing Yash to hone his medical expertise. During their stay, he acquires projectors, tape recorders, and movie cameras, which he later sends back to India, marking the beginning of a 40-year legacy.

In 1966, the Suri family leaves India for a temporary stay in England, where Yash enhances his medical career. He sends a film kit to India, starting a 40-year exchange of home movies and tapes between his family and his new household in Manchester. As the years pass, their three daughters grow up, and Yash's family in India yearns for his return. Eventually, Yash sets up a medical practice in India, and the family's story comes full circle, with one daughter marrying, another moving to Australia, and the third pursuing a film project.
